After a long 12-hours surrounded by nothing but the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean, land was finally in sight. As the clouds parted, the vast blue waters were greeted by a lush, emerald carpet sprawled out into the distance as far as the eye could see. Tributaries cut through the dense vegetation, meandering their way into the horizon like silver bolts of lightning surging their way through a dark night sky.
